Vieja Culiá

Barrel Fermented Old Ale

A collaboration between Nuevo Origen and Checa, inspired by the classic British style of intense ales with long maturation.

“Vieja Culiá” was directly fermented in new American and French oak barrels, and then cellared for five more months. The result is a deep red beer, with 7% of alcohol and an aromatic profile dominated by the sweet notes of coconut, caramel, nuts and vanilla.
